first attempt - rec time (hm, that reminds me of ragtime blues^^)

So, I've to write an exam this evening, but I'm sick of learning - at least for the time being - and I want to rec this wonderful fic I'm reading atm.

It's so lovely and you know I often read quite dark fics, this one however deals with abuse, but it's not really dark or evil or something like that. I'll just paste the description:

An AU story in which Dean and Sam are teenagers who meet in Oakridge, a home for problem boys. The boys are not related in this story so their feelings for each other are not incest, however, it doesn't mean this story won't eventually be slash, albeit slow-moving slash. The story also deals with issues surrounding child abuse and bullying of varying natures.

It's still WOW, but it's got 38 chaps posted already. So far their's just kissing between the boys, so really slow-moving slash. But it's a really emotional and tense story. I LOVE IT!
